Methods: cross-sectional which data from 19 CD eight ACS were analyzed. Osteoporosis was assessed using bone mineral density (BMD) lumbar spine dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry (DEXA). Results: Bone loss present 81.5% syndrome. nearly three times more common (62.5%) than (26.3%). BMD at lower CD. had significantly levels dehydroepiandrosterone sulfate (DHEA-S) In comparison group, serum parathyroid hormone (PTH) concentration group higher. entire patient population, statistically significant correlation DHEA-S values. Conclusions: Patients have severe CD, concentrations might important explaining difference. examinations should prioritized enable rapid recognition intervention osteoporosis. Measurement turnover markers such as PTH aid early diagnosis consequences hypercortisolism on bone. J Endocrinol Metab. 2023;13(1):33-38 doi: https://doi.org/10.14740/jem857
